Planting a tree in memory of a loved one is a special way to celebrate their life and legacy.
Through Savannah Tree Foundation's In Memoriam program, new trees will be planted in areas of need throughout Chatham County each year. To ensure health, the trees will be planted at an environmentally suitable time, typically late fall or winter.

Why Plant Trees?
Your choice to plant memorial trees not only honors the life and legacy of your loved one but also helps to protect and grow our beautiful urban forest for generations to come.
Please note: Due to the nature of Savannah Tree Foundation's planting program, we cannot specify a tree for an individual. Memorial trees will be planted at the next planned community planting.
